About Lisa
With over 20 years of experience as a registered dietitian, I help adults—especially those 40+—create realistic, sustainable changes that lead to lasting health improvements. Whether you're managing food allergies, navigating weight issues, struggling with blood sugar control or simply ready to feel better in your body, I provide expert, no-nonsense guidance rooted in collaboration, accountability, and long-term success.
Approach to care
My sessions are warm and supportive—but also focused and practical. I take a behavior-change-focused, goal-oriented approach, helping you set structured, realistic goals that move you forward. Clients can expect direct, honest feedback within a nonjudgmental space, with the option for ongoing accountability and check-ins.
Your first session with Lisa
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and build a foundation for your care. I’ll ask about your health history, eating patterns, lifestyle, and what you’re hoping to achieve through nutrition counseling. More importantly, I want to hear what you think is working, what feels challenging, and what you're ready to change. We’ll clarify your short- and long-term goals, and I’ll help you identify three simple, personalized action steps you can start implementing right away. These will be tailored to your lifestyle and preferences—whether it's adjusting your meals for better energy, managing blood sugar, navigating food allergies, or exploring your relationship with food. My goal in this first session is to make sure you leave feeling heard, supported, and empowered, with a clear sense of direction and progress.
