About Lisa

Hello! I have been a licensed and Registered Dietitian for over 20 years. I have worked with various populations from a failure to thrive toddler to a 101 year old man wanting to improve his cholesterol! I have an undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology and have worked in various rehabilitation settings and as a personal trainer/aerobics instructor. Having a duel background related to health enables me to look at a more comprehensive picture of my clients. I have training in motivational interviewing and health coaching which has been very useful in guiding people to make gradual changes.

Approach to care

My approach to care is that of a "team approach". My client and I work as a cohesive team to navigate the appropriate path to determine short and long-term lifestyle changes based on their goals. Slow and steady usually wins the race! My compassion to help others is very high and my day is made when my clients progress toward their goal achievement!

Your first session with Lisa

In the first session, I will gather a good deal of information about my client. The information can include but is not limited to: diet recall, eating patterns, exercise, stress, sleep, lifestyle patterns and client goals. It is very important for me to have an accurate picture of my client before we begin our journey together to make positive lifestyle changes.
