About Lisa
Food has always been my way into connection and creativity. With 15 years as a Registered Dietitian and a MS in Nutrition from East Carolina University, I’ve worked in long term care, prenatal nutrition education, private practice, and community health. I love being culinary creative so that nutrition feels exciting and doable, not restrictive. Outside of work you’ll find me cooking, practicing yoga, being active outside with my family, or chasing the next adventure, and I bring that same curiosity to helping people find what works for them.
Approach to care
Evidence guides the choices I share, and empathy shapes how we put those choices into practice. As a Registered Dietitian I use research-based principles while honoring a Health At Every Size perspective, focusing on behaviors and sustainable habits rather than weight. We’ll work together, education-forward and action-oriented, to build clear, practical steps that fit your life. I aim to meet you where you are, reduce pressure, and support long-term change that feels manageable and meaningful.
Your first session with Lisa
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we’ll review your medical history and talk through what matters to you. You don’t need to have everything figured out, just bring your questions and honest experience. Together we’ll identify 1 to 2 short-term goals and practical next steps that feel realistic. My priority is that you leave with clarity, a sense of direction, and a plan we can adjust as we learn what works best for you.
