About Lisa
Hi, I’m Lisa. I’m a Registered Dietitian in New York City with 24 years of experience, grounded in Nutrition and Food Studies from New York University. I’ve supported clients in diabetes self management and general wellness, drawing on my RD and CDCES credentials to guide practical care. Outside of work, I love running, cycling, yoga, and hiking with my fur baby, and I enjoy cooking, baking, sewing, and decorating, channeling my inner Martha Stewart. I’m excited to meet you and learn what matters most to you.
Approach to care
Together, I base our plan on current science and translate it into everyday steps you can actually follow. I’m warm and empathetic, offering a nonjudgmental space where you’ll feel seen and heard. My approach is direct and action oriented, helping you turn insights into steady habits and clear next steps. I practice Health At Every Size and focus on behaviors, relationship with food, and overall well being rather than dieting culture. We’ll address sleep, stress, movement, and mood as part of your sustainable wellness journey.
Your first session with Lisa
Think of our first appointment as a friendly conversation about you. We’ll review your medical history, talk through your relationship with food, and establish short term goals. You don’t need to have it all figured out yet; we’ll meet you where you are and co-create a plan that fits your life in New York City. We’ll explore what’s worked before, what hasn’t, and set one or two realistic steps to start. You’ll leave with warmth, clarity, and practical guidance for lasting change.
