About Lisa

Hi, I’m Lisa, MPH, RD, LD, a Registered Dietitian with over 30 years of experience. I earned my BS in Nutrition from the University of Maine and my MPH in Nutrition from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. My career spans clinical hospital care, private practice, and community health, which helps me see food as part of daily life and health equity. I approach nutrition with curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to evidence. I’m honored to walk beside you on your health journey.

My care is grounded in current science, delivered with warmth, and built on a true partnership. I use an evidence-based approach that respects your goals and your life, and we’ll translate science into practical, everyday choices. I embrace Health At Every Size as a framework and look at the whole person, including sleep, stress, and mood, when we plan nutrition. Change that lasts comes from small, steady steps. I’m curious, nonjudgmental, and committed to helping you build sustainable habits you actually enjoy, understand, and own.

Your first session with Lisa

Think of our first appointment as a conversation about you. We’ll review your medical history, establish short-term goals, review lab work and biometrics, and begin shaping a personalized meal plan. You don’t need to have it all figured out before we meet; I’ll help you articulate what matters most and set practical next steps. It’s a low-pressure, supportive space where your questions are welcome, and we’ll work together to start a plan that fits your life.
