About Lois

For over 20 years, Lois has worked as a dietitian, addressing various health conditions such as heart disease, transplant recovery, dialysis, healthy aging, women's health, as well as sports nutrition and weight management. Her corporate wellness experience has enriched her knowledge in wellbeing, nutrition during stress, and enhancing nutrition for improved performance and productivity. Additionally, she is a diabetes educator with significant experience in diabetes and endocrinology. Having studied at culinary school, Lois enjoys sharing her love for food and cooking by simply bridging the gap between nutrition and food.

Approach to care

Nutrition doesn't have a "one size fits all" approach. Lois takes into account all lifestyle factors that influence nutrition choices and behaviors, adjusting her sessions to address each individual's unique needs. In these sessions, you collaborate as partners to achieve your objectives. She aims to foster a safe, judgment-free atmosphere that supports reaching those goals. Her focus is on transitioning away from ineffective fad diets and trending nutrition plans towards a holistic approach to healthy eating and behavior modifications tailored to the individual. Lois highlights the importance of guidance that exceeds mere education, striving to provide practical and actionable strategies for everyone.
