Hi, I'm Long. I earned my PhD in Nutrition from Purdue and bring 12 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian to my practice. My career has taken me from research and academia to private practice, where I partner with people to turn science into practical, sustainable eating habits. When I'm not meeting with clients, you'll find me traveling, swimming, reading, practicing calligraphy, and savoring a good cup of tea. I value a warm, authentic connection and a holistic view of health that honors your goals, routines, and life.

I practice with an evidence-based, holistic, and empathetic approach. We'll work together to translate current nutrition science into clear, doable steps that fit your life, preferences, and values. I believe in a weight-neutral, health-focused path that emphasizes sustainable behaviors, not quick fixes. My goal is lasting change, built on curiosity, accountability, and compassion.

Your first session with Long

Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history, lab results or biomarkers, and establish short-term goals in a warm, nonjudgmental space. We'll also conduct a thorough intake so we can know each other better, and I'll take time to answer your questions about me so you feel comfortable and understood. You don't need to have everything figured out yet; just show up as you are, and we'll take it from there with small, manageable steps.
