About Lori

Lori is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist with advanced expertise in sports nutrition and performance training. She has spent several years working in sports medicine and wellness settings and has served as a Fitness Specialist and Nutritionist for organizations including The Disney Institute, the Central Florida YMCA, the University of Central Florida, and Universal Orlando. Outside of her professional work, Lori is a lifelong athlete and enjoys everything from triathlons and adventure racing to weight lifting and yoga. She makes it her priority to balance work and family time with her husband and son.

Approach to care

Lori strives to help individuals improve their health, performance and quality of life through practical, evidence-based nutrition. With a strong foundation in both clinical nutrition and exercise science, Lori specializes in translating complex science into clear, realistic strategies that fit real lives.

Your first session with Lori

Your first session will be spent reviewing some pertinent information about Nourish, gathering any additional health information and most importantly, discovering your "WHY". What you get out of bed for every day, what makes your heart beat, what you are striving to achieve. We will get to know each other and begin forming a game plan for your ultimate success.

Education

Lori earned her Bachelor's degree in Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master's degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University. Lori completed her dietetic internship at the Cooper Aerobics Center in Dallas, Texas, where she trained within a nationally recognized wellness program and gained experience working with diverse health and performance goals. Lori is a Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA.
