About Lynette
I have been practicing as a registered dietitian since 2009. I developed a passion for diabetes care and in 2017, became a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist! Since then, I have also become a certified trainer for Dexcom continuous glucose monitor and a Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management.
Approach to care
I am committed to providing education, support, and guidance to my patients. I am honest with my patients and encourage them to be honest as well in order to enhance the intervention and support needed. There is so much misinformation about nutrition on social media and I am happy to help discern fact from fiction!
Your first session with Lynette
At the first session, I like to talk about the patient’s expectations. I will also be gathering information such as diagnosis, medical history, lab results, food logs, medications, supplements, and anthropometrics. Based on the patient’s likes, dislikes, estimated nutritional needs, and areas of improvement needed, I make individualized recommendations.
