About Lynice

Hey there, I'm Lynice. I'm a Registered Dietitian and former Certified Personal Trainer based in North Carolina with 6 years of experience in clinical nutrition and counseling. My career has taken me from acute care hospital floors, community health, and long-term care, giving me a practical sense of how nutrition shows up in all stages of life. I love translating science into simple, achievable habits. If there is an obstacle in our way, we'll take the side streets together to overcome it. I believe that everyone deserves to feel good in their body and I pride myself in helping people achieve that through nutrition and fitness. My hobbies are cooking, enjoying long walks, traveling, and capturing moments with my camera.

Approach to care

My care philosophy is a data-driven approach that focuses on measurable, evidence-based tracking (nutrition, habits, fitness metrics). Basically, I'm an RD in your back pocket. My goal is your goal. I'm just here to keep you accountable and honest with the behaviors that you implement to achieve them. I take evidence-based research and translate it into practical plans. We'll work together to understand your relationship with food and the roadblocks you encounter, then turn that insight into clear, actionable steps. I practice with a Health At Every Size lens, focusing on sustainable habits and body neutral goals rather than diets. I view you holistically—addressing sleep, stress, movement, and mood—while educating you so you feel confident making choices that fit your life.

Your first session with Lynice

Our first appointment is a conversation designed for you. We’ll pace it so you feel seen, not scanned. We’ll review your labs and biometrics (if available), your daily routines, and most importantly your relationship with food. I’ll ask about what’s working, what isn’t, and what you hope to achieve. Together we’ll establish short-term goals and a practical plan you can start this week. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out — you don’t need to be perfect. We’ll move at a pace that respects your life and your pace.
