About Macey
I've been fortunate to work in various dietetic settings including public health, sports nutrition, renal dialysis, and clinical care. With this exposure came the pleasure of working with individuals from all walks of life! Nothing makes me happier than meeting new people and assisting clients in living a healthy, balanced lifestyle. With an overwhelming amount of food noise spiraling around us, it can be difficult to navigate what's actually going to be effective for you and your body. I strive to stay up to date with emerging trends and new evidence. This helps clients maintain a healthy relationship with food and supports a more enjoyable yet sustainable health journey.
Approach to care
I believe in taking an integrative approach, meaning your entire well-being comes into play. Remember “A healthy outside starts on the inside”! My philosophy stands firm on balance - with balance comes mindfulness, consistency, and sustainable results. My goal is to help you overcome current barriers, guide you through a personalized nutrition plan, and provide you with structure and accountability. No diet is a “one size fits all” so it’s important to treat your body with the appropriate care.
Your first session with Macey
This is my chance to really get to know you, your lifestyle, goals, and concerns. We will complete a nutrition assessment together - this is a list of comprehensive questions to help me understand your habits, time capabilities, history, and how we can personalize your plan to make those short and long term goals. You’ll have a better understanding about Nourish and I’ll ensure everything is set up for your success.

Education
I earned my bachelors degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Louisiana State University and completed supervised practice at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
Hobbies
Fun fact.. my first passion was dancing! I danced for 22 years and eventually landed a dream job with the NBA before becoming a registered dietitian. Now you can find me bike riding, experimenting with recipes, catching up on my favorite movies/series, and spending time with my family.
