About Mackenzie
My name is Mackenzie. I finished my undergraduate degree in 2018 and then completed my graduate degree in 2020. I have been working in the field since 2020. My experience includes acute care, long term care, food service and counseling. My goal is to make a meaning impact, whether I'm helping someone manage a chronic condition, build a healthier relationship with food or simply feel better in their day to day life.
Approach to care
Individualized care and compassion is my approach. Everyone has different nutritional needs. I work with my clients on meeting those needs and finding achievable goals to work towards together. I prioritize building a trusting relationship with clients through active listening and open communication.
Your first session with Mackenzie
First session will typically cover past medical history, dietary habits, lifestyle factors, psychosocial considerations, goals the client has, and challenges you've faced with nutrition or health in the past. I believe in empowering clients through education.
