About Madalyn

Hi, I’m Maddi, and I’m excited to work with you on achieving your nutrition and health goals. I’m a Registered Dietitian with over seven years of experience in the field of dietetics, after earning my B.S. in Food and Nutrition Sciences from Ohio University. My professional background is rooted in community and family nutrition, where I focus on helping individuals and families build healthier habits through realistic, sustainable changes. In addition to my RD, LD, I’m also credentialed as an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), allowing me to support nutrition needs across all stages of life, including pregnancy, postpartum, infancy, and beyond. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me annoying my husband, making my daughter laugh, or chasing after my Rottweiler—who has probably stolen a sock for the eighth time that day.

Approach to care

I believe that achieving a healthier lifestyle is about focusing on the journey, not just the destination. While setting goals is important, long-term success comes from building sustainable, personalized habits that fit your lifestyle and are grounded in evidence-based nutrition. You and I will work together as partners in your health. I provide judgment-free nutrition counseling and prioritize your voice in every step of the process. My approach is flexible and client-centered, meeting you where you are and adapting recommendations as your needs evolve. My guidance is always direct and actionable, delivered with compassion and understanding—because nutrition can feel overwhelming at times, and my goal is to help make it more manageable.

Your first session with Madalyn

Talking about eating habits, health history, and personal goals can feel intimidating, and these conversations are often deeply personal. In our first session, my priority is to help you feel comfortable—with me, the Nourish platform, and nutrition as a whole. We’ll review your medical history, discuss your current eating patterns, and identify where you’d like to see change. From there, we’ll explore science-based nutrition recommendations, set realistic short-term goals, and create an actionable plan focused on long-term, sustainable progress. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—think of this as a starting point. We’re simply laying the foundation that we’ll continue building together.
