About Maddi
Hi there! I’m Maddi — a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist based in St. Louis, MO. Over the past 6 years, I’ve worked in both the inpatient clinical setting as well as long term care. I specialize in diabetes, weight loss, and heart disease prevention and management. I help clients simplify nutrition, break free from dieting cycles, and build habits that last. My goal is to make healthy lifestyle changes feel achievable and empowering while supporting you in your personal nutrition goals.
Approach to care
My approach to care is individualized, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based nutrition science. I recognize that each person’s health history, lifestyle, culture, and goals are unique, so nutrition plans are never one-size-fits-all. I focus on practical strategies that support your goals without restrictive dieting. Together, we work on building realistic habits, improving nutrition knowledge, and creating balanced eating patterns that fit into everyday life. I emphasize long-term behavior change, education, and consistency rather than quick fixes. My goal is to help clients feel confident in their food choices, improve clinical outcomes, and develop a healthy relationship with food that supports lifelong wellness.
Your first session with Maddi
Your first nutrition session is focused on getting to know you & YOUR nutrition goals. We’ll review information you are comfortable providing to me: ie medical history, lab values, medications, lifestyle, and current eating patterns. We’ll also discuss your health goals. This session is collaborative and judgment-free. There is no pressure to follow a strict diet or make drastic changes. Instead, we’ll identify areas where small, meaningful adjustments can support your health as a team.
