About Maddy

I am a New Jersey-based Registered Dietitian who is passionate about promoting a well balanced healthy lifestyle through anti-diet and weight-neutral approach. I am dedicated to helping you heal your relationship with food, your body, and your mind. I take a compassionate, weight-neutral, and nonjudgmental approach, focusing on your unique needs rather than rigid rules or restriction. My goal is to support you in achieving your health goals while cultivating a balanced, fulfilling life. I believe food should bring nourishment, joy, and connection—not stress or guilt—and I work with you to strengthen that relationship so it supports your overall physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

Approach to care

My nutrition counseling is rooted in intuitive and mindful eating philosophies, with a strong emphasis on weight neutrality. I view health through a “whole person” lens. I recognize that your physical, emotional, and mental health are deeply connected. Our work together will honor your individual needs, values, and lifestyle, so your nutrition plan and recovery journey feel realistic, sustainable, and empowering. Whether we’re discussing eating behaviors, body image, exercise, or other aspects of your health, you’ll have a safe and supportive space to explore, learn, and grow. I am here to walk alongside you, not ahead of you, as we work toward food freedom and self-compassion.

Your first session with Maddy

Your first session is all about getting to know you: your history, your current challenges, and your goals. We’ll talk about your relationship with food, your body, and your health, as well as any experiences with disordered eating or other health concerns. This is a judgment-free space, so you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Together, we’ll start mapping out a plan tailored to your needs, values, and life, with clear next steps you can feel confident about. My aim is for you to leave our first meeting feeling heard, understood, and supported, with hope and direction for your journey ahead.
