About Maddy
Hey there, I’m Maddy! I’m a Sports Dietitian passionate about helping athletes fuel for performance. From team sports and endurance athletes to functional fitness and strength-focused athletes, I help you train stronger, recover smarter, and feel confident in your nutrition. In addition to being a Dietitian, I’m also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and have spent the last 10 years immersed in the fitness and nutrition space. My most recent love (and obsession!) is CrossFit, where I’ve seen firsthand how proper fueling can be the difference between feeling flat in workouts and showing up strong, confident, and consistent. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete chasing a competitive edge, a dedicated CrossFitter looking to level up your performance, or someone new to structured training who wants expert guidance, I’d love to support you on your journey. Approach to care
I take a collaborative approach with my clients, working together to create a nutrition plan that fits your lifestyle and supports your athletic goals in a way that actually works for you. This means we’ll build strategies that feel realistic, flexible, and tailored to your sport and training schedule. I know how overwhelming nutrition advice can be online, with trends, fads, and quick-fix promises everywhere. My personal promise to you is that I will only provide you with sports nutrition recommendations and strategies that are rooted in evidence-based science that the pros use. I also follow a weight-neutral approach, supported by the Health at Every Size (HAES) framework. This means that we will focus on performance outcomes and sustainable lifestyle habits rather than chasing a number on the scale. Lastly, I am of the mindset that all foods fit; we will spend time focusing on incorporating a variety of all foods rather than promoting any unnecessary food restrictions.
Your first session with Maddy
Let’s get to know you! The first session with me is about reviewing your health history, training routine, lifestyle habits, and food preferences, as well as any challenges you’ve been facing. Together, we’ll identify your goals and outline a plan that fits your sport, your schedule, and your life. As with all visits, this session is a no-pressure conversation. My goal is to set the foundation for a supportive, collaborative relationship and get you started on fueling for performance and achieving your goals with confidence.
