About Madeleine
After 18 years as a registered dietitian, I combine graduate training in Nutrition and Health Sciences with hands-on experience in hospitals, community health programs, and private practice. As an RDN and LDN with CSG credentials, I draw on clinical know-how while keeping recommendations practical and person-centered. Outside of work you can usually find me painting, hiking, swimming, or planning my next trip. I'm preparing to sit for the CDCES exam in the next few months, which reflects my ongoing commitment to diabetes care and education. I live in Middle TN with my husband and two young boys.
Approach to care
Evidence guides what I recommend, and your life guides how we make those recommendations work. I practice through a Health At Every Size lens, focusing on sustainable habits, function, and self-compassion rather than weight. We will use science-backed strategies presented in clear, actionable steps so you can test, adapt, and sustain changes over time. I prioritize a warm, judgment-free space where your questions matter and education empowers you to make informed choices for the whole person, not just the plate.
Your first session with Madeleine
Expect a relaxed, collaborative conversation where we'll set short-term, achievable goals and review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you bring. We'll do a deep, nonjudgmental dive into your relationship with food, daily routines, and what has or hasn't worked in the past. You don't need to have all the answers. Together we'll identify one or two manageable steps to start, so you leave with clarity and a realistic plan rather than pressure.
