About Madeline
Are you tired of feeling like food is a constant battle? Maybe you’re stuck in the cycle of dieting, holding out hope that the next diet will be “the one”, labeling foods as “good” or “bad”, or feeling like your worth is tied to your weight or the food you eat. You’re not alone - and you don’t have to stay there. As a registered dietitian, I help people break free from diet culture, find balance without obsession, and reconnect with food as a source of joy and nourishment - not stress.
Approach to care
My approach to care is about balance. I aim to meet you where you are, without judgement, and support you in moving towards a more peaceful, flexible relationship with food and your body. I don’t give rigid meal plans and food rules - instead, I will work with you to build sustainable, realistic habits based on your unique needs, preferences, and life context. What makes my approach different is that it’s grounded in both personal experience and professional care. I’ve experienced the pressures of chronic dieting, feeling like I was never “thin enough,” and labeling food as good or bad. Over time—and especially through my work in long-term care—I’ve seen how that mindset can follow people for a lifetime, robbing them of joy and peace. I believe mental freedom from food opens the door to self-acceptance, deeper connection, and living fully. I hope you come to see your body as a vessel for living fully—not an object to constantly fix. Eating should support that life, not complicate it.
Your first session with Madeline
When you work with me, you can expect a supportive, judgement-free space where your whole self is welcome - your struggles, your stories, and your goals. We’ll work together to explore your relationship with food, uncover what's getting in the way of peace or balance, and build realistic habits that honor both your body and life. After counseling, my hope is that you will walk away with more peace in your relationship with food, more compassion towards your body, and a sense that you can trust yourself. I want you to feel free - mentally, emotionally, and physically - to live a full, connected life. You don’t have to fix everything at once. I’ll meet you where you are - and walk with you at your pace. Let’s build a new way of eating - together.
