About Madeline

Hi! My name is Madeline Taylor and I have 8 years of hands-on clinical experience as a registered dietitian. My background spans a wide range of settings including acute-care hospitals managing tube feeding regimens, and providing comprehensive education and counseling for many conditions including: type 2 diabetes and prediabetes, congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, weight management, and chronic kidney disease. Beyond the hospital, I have supported patients in a secure medical facility where I gained valuable insight into the complex intersection of nutrition, mental health, and behavioral care. I also bring over 3 years of experience in outpatient hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, where I was able to form strong working relationships with patients and really work in a collaborative manner to improve client's lab values and overall quality of life. I am passionate about nutrition and would love to work with you!

Approach to care

My approach to care is rooted in collaboration, compassion, and realism. I believe that meaningful progress happens when we focus on what truly matters to you—your values, your lifestyle, and the goals you actually want to work toward. Together, we break things down into small, sustainable steps that fit your life, not the other way around. I provide a judgment-free space where you can be open about your challenges, your habits, and your hopes. I’m here to support you, encourage you, and problem-solve with you—but also to be honest when something isn’t working or when a different approach may serve you better. My goal is always to help you feel empowered, informed, and capable of making changes that last. With a balance of empathy and straightforward guidance, I aim to help you build confidence, clarity, and long-term habits that support your health in a way that feels achievable and authentic.

Your first session with Madeline

The first session will be about getting to know you, not just your medical history, but who you are as a person. We’ll talk about your background, daily routines, preferences, and what truly matters to you when it comes to your health and well-being. You’ll have the opportunity to share any challenges or struggles you’ve faced with nutrition in the past, as well as what has or hasn’t worked for you. Understanding your experiences helps us build a plan that feels realistic, respectful, and tailored to your life. We’ll also explore your health goals, whether they’re related to managing a medical condition, building healthier habits, improving energy, or simply feeling better in your day-to-day life. From there, we’ll outline a clear direction for our work together, noting what we want to focus on, the small steps we’ll start with, and how we’ll measure progress over time.
