Patient reviews
âSince starting with Madelyn, I was so pleased with how easy it was to build a rapport with her and how quickly I felt she understood my goals and needs. Her non-judgmental stance and ability to validate my experience has made it so easy joining each session. She is always ready to meet me where I am at and individualize a plan to meet my goals. In just a few weeks, I have already seen changes in my relationship with food. I couldn't recommend Madelyn enough, she has been incredible to work with.â

About Madelyn
Hi, Iâm Maddyâa Connecticut-based registered dietitian with a deep passion for helping people feel their best through food and lifestyle. With a strong foundation in clinical nutrition, I currently work in the inpatient hospital setting, supporting trauma and burn patients on their healing journey through personalized nutrition strategies. I also assist non-trauma patients in managing chronic conditions by creating realistic, sustainable changes tailored to their unique lifestyles. Beyond the hospital walls, I bring experience in sports nutrition, weight management, intuitive eating, and general wellness. Whether you're an athlete looking to optimize performance, someone navigating chronic illness, or simply seeking a healthier relationship with foodâIâm here to guide you every step of the way.
Approach to care
My approach to care is rooted in empathy, science, and a non-diet philosophy that empowers you to build habits that last. I love working together to figure out what makes sense for youâyour goals, your lifestyle, and whatever challenges youâre facing. I also embrace the âEvery Food Fitsâ philosophy, which means that, yes, there is room for that cookie in your meal! Finding sustainable habits is all about balance. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and excited about making changes that truly work for your life.
Your first session with Madelyn
In your first session you should expect to do a lot of talking about YOU! I want to know who you are including your reason for coming to a dietitian, your current lifestyle, any concerns you may have about starting this process, and everything else in between. From there we can go into the basics of what our time will look like when we work together and help to "lay out" what the plan will be to help you achieve your goals!
