About Madelyn
Hi all! My name is Madelyn. As a dietitian, I have worked in hospital-based care focusing on malnutrition and enteral/parenteral feeding, in a dialysis kidney care center, and in diabetes counseling and one-on-one personal counseling, including weight loss and building healthy food relationships. I am currently a SAHM, adjunct nutrition teacher at Louisiana Tech University, and a part-time RD for nourish!
Approach to care
My approach to nutrition counseling is all about being realistic for each individual. I fully believe we are all different people and require different approaches to make healthy changes in our lives. What works for one may not work for another, and adjusting the type of nutrition counseling provided is an important factor to help meet goals.
Your first session with Madelyn
The first session will be a get-to-know-you session. We will discuss the goals you desire to reach, your daily life style, your daily diet, and other information involving your health. This will be a session with realistic goals set to meet and the start of a plan.
