About Madison
Hello! I'm Madison Kading, a Registered Dietitian in the state of Oregon. I was drawn to nutrition ever since I was very little cooking year-round with my family from usual celebrations to making meals for friends in need. I faced some rough health issues and food allergies in high school which drew me closer to this career path, and have seen/helped family facing common health issues. I have always been passionate about helping others, and now I have the chance to help you improve your health. I specialize in weight management (losing or gaining weight), pre-diabetes and diabetes counseling, relationship with food, general nutrition and eating on a budget, gut health, and different diets (vegan/vegetarian/heart healthy/low carb, etc.). I truly believe nutrition brings us all together in a very special way, and I can't wait to work together to help you find peace and healing in your nutrition journey!
Approach to care
When it comes to nutrition, I believe it is very personal and everyone's journey is different because everyBODY is different. When we work together we will become a team that is centered around compassion, motivation, and accountability. With thoughtful questions, discussions, meal planning and personalized macros, we can find peace and sustainability in your health journey together. You will leave feeling supported and inspired to work towards your health goals.
Your first session with Madison
When we first meet you can expect lots of questions so that I can get to know you and meet you where you are at. We will cover: past medical history and any concerns | Current supplements or medications | Eating patterns, preferences, routines | Relationship with food (if relevant) | Lifestyle factors: sleep, movement, stress, support | and What you wish to accomplish. You will leave with a realistic goal and plan to fit your lifestyle. If you'd like, your plan could contain: meal planning, a detailed overview of the plan discussed during our session, and educational materials. Taking this step towards your health goals and asking for help can be hard! I am here to listen with no judgement, meet you where you are at, and help you find the healing and nourishment that you deserve!

Hobbies
When I am not running around outside or inside playing with my toddler, I am either trail running or working in the garden. We love the beach and baking together in the cooler months, and love being with family and friends.
