About Maen
My name is Maen Owda, MS, RDN, MNT. I dedicated the past decade building a skillset that allows me to put the patient at the center of preventative healthcare. To treat the root cause, not the symptom. To help you navigate through the noise, and identify what health means to you. After finishing my undergraduate studies from Brown University, I pursued a master’s of science degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at NYU, then proceeded to complete my clinical rotations at NYU Langone Health Hospital, which exposed me to a robust body of high-quality research and a diverse patient population.
Approach to care
I believe that there is no such thing as a magic pill or supplement. There is simple science, and when combined with personalized healthcare, optimal longevity can be achieved. Health is fluid. It is not one-size fits all. That is why diets don’t work. It has to be simple, and personal. Additionally, my time as a professional football player allowed me to experiment first-hand the impact nutrition has on human health and performance, and how pertinent intentional exercise is in improving both lifespan and healthspan.
Your first session with Maen
We will begin with a comprehensive initial consultation to test and define all aspects of your health, including your medical history, relevant biomarkers and bloodwork, genetic profile, sleep and recovery performance, anthropometric measurements, and your physical and emotional health. Then, we will analyze all the data, and together, based on your results and desired goals, we will implement a personalized plan forward.
