About Maggie
Hi, I’m Maggie! I'm a registered dietitian with training in human diseases and behavioral counseling. My experience includes working in hospital settings, long-term care, and private practice, where I’ve supported clients with a wide range of concerns such as digestive health, chronic disease management, weight concerns, and disordered eating patterns. I am particularly attentive to how stress, culture, and past dieting experiences shape eating behaviors and health outcomes. As a food lover, I believe food should be both nourishing and genuinely enjoyable—taste matters!
Approach to care
My approach to care is weight-inclusive and client-centered. Rather than focusing solely on numbers or external rules, I prioritize understanding your experience: your history with food, your daily routine, and the challenges you’re actually facing. Together, we work toward practical and individualized nutrition strategies that support both physical health and quality of life. When appropriate, I integrate principles from Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size® (HAES®), and evidence-based clinical nutrition.
Your first session with Maggie
I will conduct a comprehensive nutrition assessment to review your health history and current health and nutrition status. I take time to get to know you, including your daily and weekly routines, so that your nutrition plan fits your unique life. I’m interested in learning about your goals, as well as what has and has not worked for you in the past when it comes to nutrition and lifestyle changes. Together, we will identify meaningful goals and gentle, sustainable first steps to support your health and help you feel your best!
