About Mallori

Nutrition has been my constant through hospital wards, outpatient clinics, long term care facilities, and private practice. I bring 17 years as a Registered Dietitian and a Master of Science from Central Michigan University to care that balances evidence with real life. My background includes clinical/hospital work, foodservice management, diabetes care, outpatient nutrition education management, and long term care. I have adapted the skill of translating complex nutrition information into practical strategies, because let's face it, the nutrition world can be confusing! Outside of work, I'm a mom of three young children (my other full time job). I love to stay active coaching baseball and flag football, lifting weights, hiking and trail riding, gardening, and cooking. Those hobbies and motherhood keep my recommendations grounded in everyday life.

Approach to care

Food and health are never one-size-fits-all. Grounded in evidence-based practice, I help patients turn nutrition science into sustainable habits we can test and refine together. I use a holistic/integrative approach focusing on behaviors, quality of life, and the whole person, including sleep, stress, movement, and values. I am warm and nonjudgmental, but direct about clear action steps and accountability. Education is part of care, so you’ll gain practical skills to keep progress long term without feeling punished by rules.

Expect a relaxed, fun judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you bring. We'll spend time understanding your why, what has worked and what hasn't, and together establish short-term, achievable goals you can start right away. You don't need to have everything figured out beforehand (no one does). We'll prioritize small, sustainable steps, leave with clear actions, and map out the next appointments so progress stays manageable and realistic.
