About Mallory

Hi! I’m Mallory Cavalier, a Registered Dietitian passionate about helping others achieve better health through personalized nutrition. I’m a dog mom to Sadie, a rescue, and Stella, my Australian Shepherd, and recently married my high school sweetheart. I hold a Bachelor’s in Dietetics from Nicholls State and a Master’s in Nutritional Sciences from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, where I also completed my internship. I specialize in bariatric nutrition and weight loss, having worked closely with a multidisciplinary team at Pennington Biomedical. I look forward to supporting you on your health journey!

Approach to care

My approach to care is centered around collaboration and personalization. I believe in taking the time to understand your unique needs, goals, and lifestyle, so we can create a nutrition plan that fits you—no one-size-fits-all solutions here. Whether you’re navigating bariatric surgery or just looking to improve overall health, my goal is to empower you with the knowledge and support you need to succeed. Together, we’ll work towards sustainable changes that enhance both your physical and mental well-being, with compassion and understanding every step of the way.

Your first session with Mallory

In our first session, we’ll create a welcoming space to discuss your health goals, challenges, and any past experiences with nutrition. I’ll also gather information about your medical history, lifestyle, and dietary preferences to ensure your plan fits your needs. If you’re preparing for bariatric surgery, we’ll talk through the process and how nutrition plays a key role. By the end, we’ll set clear goals and I’ll offer initial recommendations. We’ll also plan for follow-up sessions to keep you on track and supported throughout your journey to better health!
