About Mandy
Hi, I'm Mandy, a registered dietitian who is passionate about helping people have a healthier and happier relationship with food. I have 25 years of experience in evidence-based nutrition and compassionate with helping provide a personalized approach. I work with clients to help build a realistic lifestyle change that will be sustainable. I believe that nutrition is not "cookie cutter" advise, and it is not "one size fits all". I work to help the client build goals that are obtainable, that are based on your life challenges and preferences that fit your lifestyle. Let's work together to build that healthy sustainable lifestyle.
Approach to care
My approach to a healthy lifestyle is based on communication, collaboration, evidence-based science and last but not least, compassion. The foundation of success with each client is understanding and respecting each person's unique situation (this could include but not limited to background - your relationship with food, cultural needs, work life and home life). My GOAL is to empower each client with the tools and knowledge they need to make informed and sustainable choices. Together, we will build that foundation of balanced nutrition, achievable goals and mindful eating that will promote sustainable nutrition choices without stress or guilt.
Your first session with Mandy
During your first session, it is all about getting to know you. We will discuss your goals, your lifestyle (work, home and play), discuss your medical history, discuss eating habits (this is a NO Judgement zone!) and another other challenges you may face. Come as you are... there is no prep for this session, it will last about 60 minutes. Write down questions or concerns you may have. This first session is the foundation for follow-up sessions where we will discuss, offering ongoing support, accountability and adjustments as needed based on goals.
