About Marcy
I was raised in a small town in Ohio where I learned a love of food, cooking, and gardening. Over the years, I have worked with food in various capacities - as a chef, dietitian, and instructor of food and nutrition. I worked in kitchens first before discovering the intersection of sustainability and nutrition. This led me to graduate school where I pursued becoming an RD and gaining a better understanding of sustainable food systems. I've lived and worked in many parts of the United States and have settled down in central New York with my family and a loud fluffy cat named Silver.
Approach to care
I believe in a personalized and holistic no-nonsense approach to care. Meaning, we will work together to find practical solutions for your nutritional needs. With my background, I have a wealth of knowledge about food, cooking, and nutrition, which will be useful as we figure out the best way to address your nutritional needs. I look forward to working with you.
