About Margaret
Margaret is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. She is an advanced practitioner working with all age groups in a variety of clinical healthcare settings, outpatient integrative and functional nutrition care, collegiate sport, and health/wellness clinics. She served as a distinguished, award-winning, Assistant Professor at Western Carolina University in the Nutrition and Dietetics program. In this role, Margaret worked with the athletic department advocating for 14-athletic teams, the student health/wellness clinic dietitian in general practice, and ultimately as the Marketing Manager for central campus foodservice operations. She developed menu planning implementing education for athletes, and identification and prevention of food allergens. She spent two-seasons with the White Sox MiLB Affiliate serving three-teams under the direction of the MLB Sports Performance Team. Margaret was also the ASU Human Performance Lab Manager at the North Carolina Research Campus.
Approach to care
Margaret will provide individualized care with an enhanced focus on personalized goals at the forefront of care. She uses a thorough nutrition assessment as the basis for all recommendations. Interventions are evidence-based and only determined enlisting the client's input to optimize outcomes.

I can best understand what is most important to a person by listening to them and providing guidance and support in reaching one's fullest potential.
