About Margarita
Mia Sierra, MBA, RD, is a bilingual Registered Dietitian who helps people feel better through simple, personalized nutrition. Her goal is to make healthy eating approachable, practical, and tailored to your unique lifestyle, culture, and health goals. Mia offers care that is respectful, supportive, and grounded in science—whether you're managing a health condition, working toward a wellness goal, or just trying to eat better without the overwhelm. Fluent in English and Spanish, she creates a welcoming space for individuals and families from all walks of life.
Approach to care
Mia believes nutrition should work for you—not the other way around. Her approach is gentle, personalized, and realistic. Rather than giving one-size-fits-all advice, she listens to your story, understands your needs, and works with you to create a plan that fits your life—not someone else’s idea of it. Whether you’re looking to manage a condition, feel more energized, or improve your relationship with food, Mia uses a supportive, non-judgmental style that encourages small, meaningful changes. She blends science with compassion and always respects cultural food traditions and personal preferences.
Your first session with Margarita
Your first visit is a chance to share your health story and what matters most to you. Mia will take time to understand your eating habits, medical history, lifestyle, and goals—whether that’s lowering blood sugar, reducing inflammation, improving digestion, or simply feeling better day to day. You’ll leave with practical next steps and a care plan that’s doable, flexible, and tailored just for you. The session lasts about an hour and can take place virtually or in person. Mia also offers help navigating insurance if your plan covers nutrition counseling.
