About Maria
Hello, my name is Maria. I completed my undergraduate degree at California State University, Los Angeles, and went on to complete my dietetic internship in Boston, MA. I also hold a master’s degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Community Health Education. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of populations, including pediatrics, teens, older adults, and individuals pursuing weight management. Outside of work, I love exploring new places and spending quality time with my husband and our three girls. My goal is to provide personalized, practical guidance to help you build sustainable habits and feel confident in your nutrition journey.
Approach to care
I believe that nutrition should be both evidence-based and individualized. I use the latest research and best practices to guide my recommendations, while tailoring each plan to fit your unique needs, goals, and lifestyle. My focus is on providing practical, sustainable strategies that honor your preferences and support your overall well-being. By combining my specialties in areas such as pre- and postnatal nutrition, pediatric nutrition, healthy aging, women’s health, emotional eating, and weight management, I work with you to create a personalized path that feels realistic and empowering.
Your first session with Maria
During your first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and discuss your goals, health history, and lifestyle. I’ll ask questions about your current eating habits, medical background, and any challenges you’ve faced so I can better understand your unique needs. Together, we’ll identify what’s most important to you and begin outlining a personalized plan that is realistic and sustainable. You can expect a supportive, judgment-free environment where your questions are welcome, and your voice is valued. My goal is to ensure you leave the session with practical steps to get started and a clear idea of how we can work together to reach your health goals.
