About Maria
Food and practical solutions have been central to how I live and work. I hold a BS in General Dietetics from Eastern Kentucky University and have spent five years as an RDN working in clinical and hospital settings. Based in Richmond, Kentucky, I bring a science-focused, down-to-earth style to helping people make lasting changes. Outside of work I recharge with my husband, our lively 2 1/2 year old daughter, and our two dogs, which keeps my life real and grounded.
Approach to care
Grounded in current research, I combine clear, actionable steps with a warm, nonjudgmental presence. We will work together to build sustainable habits that fit your life, not temporary fixes that leave you frustrated. I practice in a weight-neutral, health at every size framework, focusing on behaviors and overall wellbeing. I aim to educate and empower you so decisions feel informed and achievable, while also providing direct guidance and accountability when you want it.
Your first session with Maria
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we get practical and specific. We'll review your medical history, look over any lab work or biometrics you have, and identify one or two short-term goals that feel doable. You do not need to have everything figured out beforehand. My role as an RDN is to listen, clarify priorities, and leave you with clear next steps we can adjust together as we go.
