About Marianna

Hi there, I'm Marianna! I am passionate about food and finding out how it can serve you and not the other way around. Whether that means finding peace with food, creating a sustainable lifestyle that works for you, or healing your relationship with food and your body; my goal is to meet you where you are and help get you to where you want to be. I believe food is so much more than just fuel; it’s nourishment, connection, culture, comfort, and joy. I’m here to help you untangle confusing food messages, find freedom from rigid food rules, and build a lifestyle that feels good and supports your mental and physical well-being. I specialize in eating disorders and have worked in higher levels of care for adolescents and adults. I also work with parents to help them nourish their children and help create a safe food environment at home. Whether you're looking for recovery-focused support or simply want to feel more at ease in your own skin, I am here to support you.

Approach to care

My approach to care is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and curiosity. I believe that effective nutrition counseling starts with truly understanding your story, your relationship with food, your goals, and what feels realistic and meaningful in your life. Together, we’ll build a personalized plan that supports your unique needs and lifestyle. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all nutrition advice (or clothes!). Instead, we’ll focus on small, sustainable steps that feel empowering. Our sessions will be a space for open conversation, education, and support. I value the power of nutrition knowledge and want to help you feel confident and informed, especially in a world that’s full of confusing and harmful diet culture messages. I take a compassionate, non-diet, and individualized approach to nutrition counseling. My work is rooted in Intuitive Eating, Health at Every SizeĀ® (HAES), and anti-diet principles.

Your first session with Marianna

In our first session, I want to get to know you. This is your space to tell me why you are here and what's been going on around food, your body, health, and anything else that feels important. I will ask questions to better understand your history, your goals, and what support you are looking for. No need to have all the answers, we will discover those together. I hope to create a judgement-free space where you feel seen and heard so we can move forward together. By the end of the session, we will begin creating a roadmap to your goals. This will be collaborative and flexible while still making changes to get you to your goals.
