About Marily
At Nourish, I help individuals build a healthier relationship with food and take control of their wellness through evidence-based nutrition and compassionate support. As a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, I specialize in diabetes management, heart health, and sustainable lifestyle changes. With over seven years of experience in clinical and community settings, I've guided diverse populations toward better health through personalized care and culturally sensitive education. Bilingual in English and Spanish, I am passionate about making nutrition accessible, practical, and empowering for everyone I work with.
Approach to care
My approach is rooted in compassion, connection, and evidence-based practice. I believe every person's health journey is unique, and lasting change begins with understanding-- not restriction. I take time to listen, educate, and collaborate with each client to create realistic, sustainable nutrition goals that fit their lifestyle and cultural preferences. Using motivational interviewing and mindful eating techniques, I help clients build confidence, find balance, and enjoy food while improving their health outcomes. My goal is to empower individuals to make informed choices and develop lifelong habits.
Your first session with Marily
Your first session is all about YOU. This is a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where I take time the time to truly get to know you -- your health goals, lifestyle, and what brought you to Nourish. We'll start by talking about what inspired you to seek nutrition support and what you'd like to focus on. I'll ask about your typical eating habits through a simple food recall, along with any medical history of wellness concerns that may be helpful to discuss. There's no pressure or perfection expected -- this session is simply a chance for us to connect, understand your starting point, and begin building a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and personal to you. By the end, you'll leave with clarity, encouragement, and the first steps toward a healthier, more confident you.
