About Marina
Hi, I’m Marina—a registered dietitian who never thought much about food until college, when a shoulder injury kept me off the tennis court. Being unable to play the sport I loved made me realize how deeply nutrition affects energy, focus, and overall well-being. That moment changed everything. Today, I help people care for their bodies without guilt, judgment, or pressure. My approach is supportive, down-to-earth, and centered on what matters most to you—more energy, more confidence, or simply feeling like yourself again. Originally from Brazil, I moved to the U.S. in 2010 to play college tennis, and movement and wellness remain a big part of my life. I believe health should feel doable and uplifting, not overwhelming. No extreme rules—just real conversations, personalized support, and small changes that add up. If you’re feeling stuck or ready for something different, you’re not alone. Let’s figure it out together.

My approach to nutrition care is evidence-based and person-centered, using the best scientific evidence and structured care process to tailor a plan specifically to you, while deeply respecting your unique story, values, and goals; I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and though nutrition science guides our decisions, you guide the direction we take together, with collaboration, empathy, and practical, sustainable strategies that fit your life and evolve as you grow.

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, no-judgment space where we get to know you — your medical history, your current eating habits, your lifestyle, and what you most want to change or feel better about. We’ll talk about your goals and the challenges you face with food and health. Together we’ll build a personalized plan that fits your life, not the other way around. I’ll share evidence-based guidance and practical tools to support changes that are realistic and sustainable for you. My goal in our first visit is for you to feel heard, supported, and ready to take the next steps on your health journey.
