About Marion

I have been a registered and licensed dietitian for over 20 years, with experience in community and clinical settings. I live in the Atlanta area with my husband, two boys (14 and 10), and two dogs. I love making and sharing great food, and I think eating should leave you feeling satisfied instead of stressed. Years of counseling clients from all walks of life, along with my own health challenges, have led me to my current area of expertise and passion: using food to reverse the metabolic dysregulation that contributes to unintended weight gain, high blood pressure, prediabetes and Type 2 Diabetes, PCOS, dyslipidemia, inflammation, and fatigue. If you've been doing all the "right" things and find yourself frustrated by a lack of progress and results, I'm here to help.

Approach to care

My ultimate goal is for you to be your own best advocate. I want you to believe so strongly in the choices you make to improve your health that you can easily wade through the ever-present noise and conflicting messages that challenge your decisions. You will understand the scientific principles behind my recommendations and gain a new perspective on what it means to eat a well-balanced diet based on your unique needs. I take a practical, individualized, whole-person approach to help you make meaningful and sustainable changes.

Your first session with Marion

In our first session together, I want to get to know you, hear about your goals, and learn about what has motivated you to make a change. I want to know about the foods and activities that are important to you and what your barriers to change might be. I will also spend time telling you more about my approach, why it works, and how it might fit into your life. If you're ready, we will set some initial goals based on your personal needs.
