About Marisa

Marisa Faibish, MS, RD, CSSD, LDN is currently the lead dietitian for the Norton Sports Health Performance & Wellness center and the Bellarmine Knights. She is a Registered Dietitian as well as a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. Prior to this she has extensive experience in collegiate athletics working at both Florida State and Appalachian State as their director in performance nutrition.

Approach to care

Marisa aims to meet each and everyone of her clients where they are. She believes in a approach that is going to create sustainable lifestyle changes and implement healthy habits for an optimal life. She is passionate in the education component of her sessions and truly wants her clients to always understand the "why" behind everything.

Your first session with Marisa

Marisa's main goal with her initial sessions is to understand you in multiple areas i.e. lifestyle, habits, schedule, activity and sleep. Thus making sure she gets a big snapshot of what you are currently doing. With this information she will collaborate with you to create short term and long term goals and steps to achieve each one of them. She wants to motivate you to change and figure out how to hold you accountable during the process.
