About Marisa
Hi! Iām Marisa, a Registered Dietitian based in Philadelphia, PA. Iāve been an RD for nearly two decades and have extensive experience in many areas of nutrition, including dialysis and kidney health, heart health, diabetes, and weight management. Outside of work, I love cheering on Philly sports teams, staying active, and spending time with my two rescue dogs. Fitness is a big passion of mineāI enjoy everything from strength training and HIIT to yoga and Pilates. I also love traveling, especially when it involves a sunny beach. I believe deeply in the power of evidence-based nutrition and enjoy helping people feel confident in their health choices. With so much confusing nutrition information out there, my goal is to simplify the science, provide reliable guidance, and support you in creating sustainable, achievable habits.

Your first session is all about getting to know you. Weāll review your typical day, your lifestyle, your medical history, and your health and nutrition goals. Weāll also talk about what has worked for you in the past, any barriers youāve faced, and your relationship with food. You can expect questions like: What does a usual day of eating look like? What are your hobbies? Do you enjoy cooking? What types of physical activity do you like? From there, weāll collaborate to build a sustainable, personalized plan to help you reach your goals.
