About Marissa

Hi, I'm Marissa, a Registered Dietitian based in Boston. I earned my MS in Clinical Nutrition from Rutgers University and am an RDN with 5 years of experience across clinical hospital teams, community health, and sports nutrition. When I’m not helping clients, you’ll find me cooking, playing sand volleyball with my husband, or hiking with our dog Luxardo. I believe there are no bad foods and balance is key. I am passionate about meeting people where they are. My goal is to help you build a sustainable nutrition routine you enjoy.

Approach to care

Care philosophy: I ground my work in evidence-based approaches while staying deeply empathetic. I believe in a direct, action-oriented style that translates science into practical steps you can actually do. I honor Health At Every Size and focus on behaviors, not diets, to support lasting change. I see you as a whole person, including mental, emotional, and physical aspects, and I teach with an educational mindset so you leave each session with clarity and confidence. We do this together, at your pace.

Your first session with Marissa

Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history and lab work or biometrics, discuss your short-term goals, and start shaping a practical meal plan. You don't need to have every detail figured out; we'll explore your routines, preferences, and barriers together and tailor a plan that fits your life at home and beyond. This is a warm, judgment-free conversation designed to set you up with one or two realistic steps to start.
