About Markell
I received my nutrition degree at Syracuse University in 2018. I have been a Registered Dietitian for 6 years and over the years have worked in community, educational and clinical settings. I specialize in various areas and my philosophy focuses around the idea that all foods fit.
Approach to care
I take an evidence-based approach to nutrition, focusing on meeting individual needs to empower clients to make sustainable lifestyle changes. I’m passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care and helping people achieve their health and wellness goals.
Your first session with Markell
In our first session together, you can expect a warm and supportive environment where we’ll get to know each other and discuss your unique health goals. I’ll start by gathering information about your medical history, current eating habits, lifestyle, and any specific concerns or challenges you’re facing. We’ll talk about your motivations for seeking nutrition support and identify what success looks like for you. I believe in creating personalized, practical plans, so we’ll work together to develop realistic and achievable goals tailored to your needs. You’ll leave the session with a better understanding of your nutrition journey, an initial plan to get started, and the confidence to take your first steps toward better health. My goal is to empower you with the tools and support you need to make meaningful, lasting changes.
