About Marlisa
I have been a registered dietitian for over 15 years. I attended Loma Linda University where I obtained a Master in Public Health and Registered Dietitian License. I am also a board certified bariatric counselor BCBC for all stages of bariatric surgery. I believe nutrition is a very important part of our lives and helping my patients understand how nutrition affects health outcomes is my ultimate priority.
Approach to care
My approach to care is an intuitive approach. I want to understand the root cause of the problem and work with my patients to get the solution. The intuitive approach is not always about food but what, when, why and how food is used in different situations.
Your first session with Marlisa
What you can expect in your first session with me is a brief introduction of myself, and learning from you how I can help you reach your health goals. I would like to get to know you and how your day unfolds. What are your hobbies? What is your style of life? Your food journey up to now? Then establish a plan that works with you to achieve lasting and sustainable health outcomes.
