About Marni

Hi, I’m Marni. I’m a Registered Dietitian with nine years of experience helping active adults, athletes, and midlife athletes fuel for strength, recovery, and lasting energy. I earned a PhD in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences and an MS in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology, and I apply that training across research, nutrition for healthy aging, and sports nutrition settings. I’m also CSCS certified, which helps me translate science into practical performance guidance. Outside of work, you’ll find me hiking, training, running with my dog, doing yoga, or curling up with a good book. I strive for a grounded, personal approach you can trust.

Approach to care

I practice with an evidence-based, empathetic and collaborative approach. I ground recommendations in current science while honoring your lived experience. I’m direct and action oriented, turning research into clear steps you can start this week. I follow a health-emphasis perspective, focusing on sustainable behaviors that support body composition, blood sugar balance, and lifelong strength. I see you as a whole person, and I’ll educate you so you can decide what works best for you now and in the long run. Together, we’ll build lasting change.

Your first session with Marni

Our first appointment is all about you. We’ll start by reviewing your medical history, any recent labs or biometrics, and your short-term goals. The conversation will be warm, judgment-free, and unhurried, because I want you to feel seen and heard. You don’t need to arrive with perfect answers or a fixed plan; together we’ll explore what’s most important to you and identify 1–2 realistic next steps. By the end, you’ll have a clear sense of the path we’re taking and how we’ll measure progress along the way.
