About Marsha

I have over 30 years of experience in the field to include a specialty certification in diabetes care and education. I have experience in diabetes management, cardiovascular (heart) conditions, and chronic disease prevention and care. I also have life experience as a daughter, wife, mother, caregiver, and friend. I understand the complexities of life and how hard it can be to get any meal on the table, much less a healthy one. Let’s work together to change food practices and eating behaviors to fuel a healthier life.

Approach to care

Nutrition Care Centered on You! I want to meet you where you are and walk along side you to get you to where you want to be. I use some counseling techniques to help move you to action steps that can change your food choices and lifestyle habits. I will help you focus on what you want to do and what you can do and how to make these changes last a life time.

Your first session with Marsha

Our first session will last 60 minutes. Expect that I will ask you questions and listen to your answers. I want to know what your nutrition, health, and wellness goals are. I want to know what you eat and when, and maybe even with whom you eat. It may help me to know some of your personal and family medical history. So, I may ask about that. We will not be able to cover everything that you want or need in this first session. Changing eating behaviors in our toxic food environment takes time and effort. Session one will be the start or that journey.
