About Marshele
Nutrition has been my compass since earning a BS in Nutrition and becoming a Registered Dietitian. Over the past three years I’ve worked in clinical settings, community health, pediatric primary care, and skilled nursing and rehab, helping people navigate high cholesterol, diabetes or pre-diabetes, and build fiber-rich eating habits. I’m also an LPN working toward a BSN, which keeps my care grounded in clinical realities. When I’m off the clock you’ll find me reading or practicing billiards.
Approach to care
Food and health are complex, and I use science as our map while keeping compassion as our guide. As an RD I combine evidence-based recommendations with action-oriented steps you can actually sustain. We’ll work in a judgment-free space where mental, social, and practical factors like food access are part of the plan. I focus on education and skill-building so you understand why your changes work, and we’ll prioritize small, lasting habits that fit your life.
Your first session with Marshele
Expect a relaxed, collaborative visit where we'll review your medical history and current routines, without pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll discuss your goals, any barriers you face like food insecurity or a busy schedule, and specific, practical strategies for heart health, diabetes or pre-diabetes, and increasing fiber. I’m direct but supportive and motivational, and together we’ll choose a couple of realistic steps to start building sustainable habits.
