“Meeting with her. She is caring, knowledgeable and relatable.“

About Marta
Hi, I’m Marta! I received my Master’s in Science and completed a coordinated internship program at the University of Mississippi. My passion for nutrition and dietetics began while caring for a loved one who was battling cancer, where I saw firsthand how food and nutrition can profoundly impact quality of life. I believe in meeting people where they are and never using a cookie‑cutter approach—because every body is different, and everyone’s personal situation is unique. My experience spans a wide range of areas, from general knowledge and overall well‑being to chronic diseases, mental health, and body image. Most importantly, I am always willing to listen and truly value being there for others, offering support that is both compassionate and personalized.
Approach to care
I believe in using evidence‑based techniques and tailoring them to each individual, creating a sustainable and enjoyable relationship with food. To me, proper nutrition should never feel like a chore—it should be something that brings joy, balance, and confidence to everyday life. My goal is to share the same love and excitement I have for food with others, while meeting people where they are and honoring the uniqueness of every body and every personal journey.
Your first session with Marta
During our first session together, my priority is to create a warm and inviting environment where you feel comfortable speaking openly. This isn’t just about your relationship with food—it’s about getting to know you as a whole person. I want to learn about your likes and dislikes, your hobbies, and even what your childhood was like, because all of these pieces help me understand your unique journey. With that foundation, we’ll talk through your goals and what you hope to achieve from our sessions. Together, we’ll begin shaping a plan that feels realistic, personal, and supportive. Every journey starts somewhere, and I’m truly proud that you’ve chosen to take these first steps.
