About Marta
I believe that nutrition is one of the most practical and powerful ways to take care of our bodies. My passion lies in helping others develop nourishing, sustainable habits to feel better in their bodies, prevent and manage chronic conditions, and improve their quality of life. I am convinced everyone deserves to feel confident, supported, and empowered in their health journey without feeling shame, being overwhelmed, or having unrealistic expectations. I have over 10 years of experience as a dietitian, including more than 6 years specializing in digestive and liver health. I bring clinical expertise and a thoughtful, detective-like approach to understanding your unique situation.
Approach to care
I meet you where you are and work with you to build a true partnership; not to hand you a rigid plan, but to understand your goals, support your choices, and create meaningful change together. My approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and realistic. It honors your lived experience, avoids unnecessary restriction or fear around food, and focuses on what to eat more of, rather than less. Instead of offering one-size-fits-all meal plans, I provide flexible guidance, meal ideas, and personalized strategies that fit your lifestyle. Rather than promoting quick fixes or fad diets, I help you set achievable goals. Together, we will focus on building attainable habits that support lasting well-being, not perfection.
Your first session with Marta
First, I will build a full picture of your health by asking about your medical history, medication/supplement use, symptoms, food triggers, eating patterns/preferences, and lifestyle. Since your goals shape our direction, I will then ask what you would like to gain from working together. We will discuss a range of strategies, such as: • Tracking your food and symptoms for a short period of time • Using a short-term elimination diet followed by reintroductions • Working on improving or diversifying your diet • Adjusting the amount and type of dietary fiber • Making changes in your hydration and supplement use • Modifying meal size, texture, or timing • Integrating stress management techniques and physical activity This will help us set realistic, meaningful, and actionable steps to help you meet your goals. Throughout our work together, I will provide ongoing accountability and support. We will continuously assess and adjust our plan, always prioritizing your goals and well-being.
