Approach to care

As a Certified Functional Medicine RD, Mary Beth takes a whole-body-lifestyle approach to her work that is sustainable to live with. She loves helping people reach higher levels of health then they ever understood they can reach. Health and healing are all about Connections. Her team approach is simple - yet profound. She supports these main tenets of Functional Medicine and Nutrition: ☮️ mindfulness/stress/sleep health (where we restore/transform), 🏃🏻‍♂️movement, 🍎 nutritional status, ⚡️inflammation 🗑️ toxicity and 🦠microbiome health. Move beyond temporary fixes and perfection to enhance your relationship with food, your bodies and life. Health and healing takes time. Most feel and look healthier in the initial sessions. She has an amazing client base that are committed - without perfection -to a team approach. Like climbing a mountain, they take one personal step at a time forward into health they desire. Your first session with Mary

This is a time to breathe, introduce ourselves and learn if we are a good fit to work together. Please fully complete your patient onboarding assessment. This is an important step for the patient and will provide a more supportive experience. We will spend time reviewing the pre-test that Nourish requires to be completed. We will understand how we connect and what we bring to the table as a team. I will listen to your story, health history and current state including treatments, provider relationships (including therapists), meds/nutritional support, past dietitian/nutritionist experiences, needs, goals and expectations. You can share what you would like about your family history, current living, home situation and more. I will share my thoughts about your information and explain the areas I work with and the options you will always have. We are all individuals with personal needs. If the connection is not the best fit, there are others at Nourish to connect with.
