About Mary Blythe
Hi! I'm Mary Blythe. For the past 8 years, I've been a dietitian working in the field of eating disorder recovery. I've had the opportunity to work at all levels of care and witness some wonderful people walk through recovery. I'm so grateful for my experience because it laid the foundation for me to treat ALL nutrition issues with an all-foods-fit and a weight-neutral approach. In addition to eating disorders, I also have experience in treating GI conditions, diabetes, and heart health. I am originally from Nashville, TN and now reside in Atlanta, GA with my little family.
Approach to care
Nutrition can be overwhelming, with a million unqualified people on the internet telling you what to eat and how to eat it! Stripped down to science, nutrition can be simple. Food equals energy that our bodies can use to love, work, teach, move, and so on. And all foods can be a part of a balanced diet. Yes, all. Even Poptarts. When working with me, you can expect real, down to earth, nonjudgmental conversations. I love to chat and connect with people. I combine compassionate listening with steady accountability and most importantly - No BS!
