About Mary

Mary underwent a profound transformation fueled by her mother's breast cancer and uncle's pancreatic cancer. This led her to shift from a corporate role to studying dietetics with the goal of becoming a registered dietitian. As a graduate teaching assistant at Bastyr University, she translated evidence-based concepts into culinary practices, working with students in the teaching kitchen gaining insights into nutrition and well-being. Today, Mary's true calling is helping individuals make lasting diet and lifestyle changes. Guiding others brings her fulfillment surpassing any corporate achievement. Mary brings experience from hospital, outpatient and virtual practice settings.

Mary brings a unique approach. Her philosophy revolves around taking an integrative approach, addressing the entirety of an individual's well-being. By prioritizing the whole person, she looks at factors such as diet, lifestyle, sleep, stress, and physical activity in crafting personalized care plans with patients. This holistic approach ensures that each individual receives tailored guidance towards a balanced and thriving life.

Daily physical activity (spinning, strength, yoga, walks, hikes and stretches on Peloton), enjoying birds/trees/nature (I live in a 100 year old cozy cottage on an acre and a half of woods), trying new recipes, listening to music, my 17.5 year old cat (Noodle), gardening as well as time with friends and family.
