About Mary
Hi! Nice to âmeetâ youâMy name is Mary and Iâm so glad youâre here! I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over a decade of experience. I have a passion for helping individuals and families lead healthier, more fulfilling lives and I am excited to have the opportunity to help YOU! Over the years, I've had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including long-term care, dialysis clinics, hospitals, home health, and now providing nutrition counseling in private practice setting. I strive to create a comfortable, supportive environment where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to reach your goals. Iâm here to cheer you on every step of the way on your journey toward better health! Outside of work, Iâm a busy mom of four kidsâages 10, 8, 5 and 1! When Iâm not running to dance classes for my girls or juggling to keep my house clean, I love staying active, enjoying outdoor activities, tackling home projects, and of course, cooking and baking with my family.
Approach to care
My approach to care is compassionate and highly individualized. I prioritize getting to know you as a whole person, not just your goals or diagnoses, and I strive to create a comfortable, judgment-free space. Building trust and understanding is essential, because meaningful and sustainable progress happens when you feel supported and heard.
Your first session with Mary
In our first session together, the focus is on getting to know you. Weâll spend time talking about your lifestyle, daily routine, food preferences, and any dislikes so that recommendations feel realistic and personalized. I also want to understand your past experiencesâwhat has worked for you before, what hasnât, and what may have felt unsustainable or frustrating. Weâll take a close look at what your diet looks like right now, without judgment, to identify patterns, strengths, and areas where small changes could make a meaningful difference. My goal is for this to feel like a comfortable, supportive conversation rather than a lecture. By the end of the session, you can expect to walk away with a clear and manageable plan. Together, weâll identify 1â2 specific goals to focus on until our next visit, so you feel confident, supported, and clear on how to move forward.
